CE Description
In this 60-minute presentation, the audience will learn about the structural integrity of multi-level parking garages, the early signs of potential issues, why failures can occur and how they can be easily prevented through an annual maintenance program. Numerous pictorial examples will illustrate the topic throughout the presentation to enhance attendees’ understanding.
After the presentation, each participant will be better informed about the importance of a proper maintenance program, its relevance, and how to effectively convey this information to their boards, stakeholders, and the wider community to ensure structural integrity is maintained.
CEC Learning Objectives

- Identify environmental factors that can impact parking structures and recommend strategies for prevention.
- Demonstrate through pictorial examples maintenance and repair items typically found in parking garages and how they can affect the integrity of the garage if not addressed.
