Speaker Bios:
Briana Arvay is an Executive Vice President within The Falcon Group. She brings to the team over ten years of experience within the engineering industry with special experience in Retail, Grocery, Commercial, and Multi-family projects. In addition to design, Briana is passionate about helping clients achieve their energy and sustainability goals. Utilizing programs opportunities such as New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, NYSERDA, Trade Allies, and others, she hopes to continue to educate clients on the incentives available for their building.
As the Vice President of Strategic Planning, Ms. Arvay intends to bring her experience in cultivating relationships to strengthen the engineering divisions’ national presence. She plans to provide executive oversight to large engineering projects to ensure client success on timeline, budget, and full building life cycle thinking. Briana will be involved in numerous organizational facets from hiring to project management, as well as new client business development.
James Trynosky, P.E., CEM, CBCP, LEED AP, is an Executive Vice President of The Falcon Group’s MEP division. He develops working drawings and construction documents for the firm’s residential, commercial, retail and energy projects. Mr. Trynosky has vast experience in residential, government, industrial, commercial and institutional HVAC system design, both new construction and projects within existing buildings. He’s worked on a number of landmark and historic building projects where the sensitive nature of the architectural design requires careful coordination and innovative thinking for the building systems designs. Mr. Trynosky also has experience working on energy performance projects through initial site observations, developing feasibility studies, economic analysis evaluating potential energy conservation measures, and design and implementation. He has provided oversight and management during construction. Mr. Trynosky received his professional accreditation in the United States Green Building Council’s LEED program; he enhanced this credential with a specialty in building design and construction. He is well-versed in requirements for building LEED certification, and current sustainable building design practices. Mr. Trynosky has led a multi-discipline Engineering teams in the design of new school buildings, school renovations, major transportation infrastructure projects and energy projects throughout New York, New Jersey and Colorado. His responsibilities at The Falcon Group include, but are not limited to, working directly with a partner of the firm in production of complete construction documents, bidding and contractor management, directing design efforts of the MEP department, forensic engineering investigations, professional testimony, and oversight of energy benchmarking and audits.
